Inside The Oakheart Conestoga Covered Wagon: The wagon sleeps up to four guests with a king bed and twin bunk beds. You'll also have your own private full bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The wagon includes: - King bed - Twin bunk beds - Private full bathroom with hot water - Heat and air conditioning - Mini refrigerator - French Press Coffee Maker - Tea Kettle - Basic coffee supplies - Dining table and two chairs - Bed linens and bath towels - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap There is no kitchen or microwave in the wagon. Fredericktown is a short drive away for restaurants, takeout, and anything you may need during your stay. Your wagon is just one part of the Cherrywood experience. Play a round of golf, bring your fishing poles for catch-and-release fishing in the pond, walk the property, watch the farm animals, or make your way to our access point on the St. Francis River when conditions allow. The wagons intentionally do not have Wi-Fi, giving you a chance to slow down and spend some uninterrupted time together. Whether you're here for a couples getaway, family adventure, golf trip or simply a change of scenery, The Oakheart wagon gives you a comfortable home base for experiencing Cherrywood.

The Oakheart Wagon is part of a working farm, and a small eight-wagon retreat, so your stay comes with some of the sights and sounds of country life. You may hear roosters, cattle, goats or other farm animals. After rain, some areas of the farm and the route toward the river may be muddy. There is no Wi-Fi at the wagon. Cellular service varies by carrier. The wagon is not advertised as ADA accessible. The pond is for catch-and-release fishing only; guests should bring their own fishing equipment. Swimming is not permitted in the pond. The catch-and-release pond is stocked with Crappie, Bass, Grass carp, and Bluegill. Access to the St. Francis River is shared with our wagon guests. River depth and current change considerably with weather and rainfall. Please use good judgment and follow the water-safety information provided in the wagon. There is no kitchen or microwave in the wagon. Quiet hours are 11 PM–6 AM. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Pets are not permitted.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to The Oakheart wagon, and its private bathroom. During your stay, you'll also have access to shared areas of Cherrywood Farm & Golf Club, including designated farm areas, the pond for catch-and-release fishing, and access to the St. Francis River through the farm pasture. The catch-and-release pond is stocked with Crappie, Bass, Grass carp, and Bluegill. River conditions vary with weather and rainfall, so swimming, wading or floating may not always be appropriate. The river access is through the pasture to the right of the barn. Please lock the gates as you go through them. Once you cross the pasture, there is a second gate that leads to the woods. The river is a few feet into the woods. Due to weather, we cannot guarantee what state the river will be in, sometimes it is more fast and flooded, other times, it is more like a gently moving creek. Either way it is a beautiful spot to enjoy with your family. Guests are welcome to enjoy and photograph the farm animals, but please do not enter animal pastures, feed animals or interact with them without permission. The golf course and golf-cart rentals are available separately. Wagon guests currently receive 50% off golf packages and golf-cart rentals during their stay. Golf carts are for golf course use only. Please bring your own clubs. Free parking is available in the designated gravel parking area rather than directly beside the wagon.
